And when Sunwing Airlines scoops up the Airline of the Year Award in Quebec – after serving the province for little over a year – we know we’re onto something good.

Sunwing scores again as one of Canada's fastest growing companies... 2008 – Sunwing Vacations Group has again been named one of Canada’s 100 fastest growing companies by the influential magazine Profit – the only travel and tourism-related company to do so. This marks the third consecutive time the company has made it to the prestigious annual list, which features a wide array of corporations including engineering and construction, tech sector and financial services. Sunwing is in 34th position after showing an increase in sales of 1800% in the past five years, from $14 million in 2002 to $259 million in 2007.
Sunwing (comprising both Sunwing Airlines and Sunwing Vacations)... 2008 – Sunwing Travel Group comprising of Sunwing Airlines and Sunwing Vacations is the only company to be named a finalist in TravelZoo award category “Leading provider of travel deals, Canada”.
Personality of the Year 2008 – Stephen Hunter voted by travel agents across Canada as Travel Personality of the Year in the travel trade publication TravelHotNews. Each day over 22,000 Canadians employed in the travel industry receive this electronic newsletter.
Tour Operator Rock Stars 2007 – Sunwing President Colin Hunter voted by travel agents across Canada as one of the “Tour Operator Rock Stars” and COO Stephen Hunter voted a “New Generation Rock Star” in the travel trade publication TravelIndustryToday. Over 20,000 travel professionals across Canada subscribe to this daily compendium of news for the industry.
Sunwing Airlines voted by Quebec travel agents as “Airline of the Year” 2007 – Sunwing Airlines voted by Quebec travel agents as “Airline of the Year” in the travel trade publication Express Voyage.
