Santiago de Cuba-Cuba
Santiago de Cuba is located on the Southeast end of the island. You will fly directly into "SCU, Airport name – Antonio Maceo Airport. It is approximately a 30-minute drive from the Airport to " Club Bucanero Hotel".
In 1515, Don Diego Velazuez found the village of Santiago de Cuba. It is the second biggest city in Cuba and unlike other Cuban towns, it has a noticeable Caribbean flavour due to the influence of French planters and Haitians who settled there in the last century. The city houses Cuba’s oldest places and museums including Casa de Diego Velazuez and Museo Municipal Bacardi.
Club Bucanero is located atop a cliff facing out to sea. A sandy beach is no more than a couple of minutes from most rooms. All of the rooms have a terrace or balcony with mountain or sea views. The hotel has a particularly attractive environment, on one side the Caribbean Sea, historically known as "The Pirates Sea and on the other side the exuberant mountains from the Sierra Maestra Chain. The hotel has 200 rooms, providing single, double or triple accommodation, connecting rooms for families. Facilities: Satellite TV, Safety deposit boxes inclusive, A/C, phone. Restaurant: Buffet with themed nights, tropical decoration, a variety of International and Cuban cuisine, facing the Caribbean. Specialized Seafood Restaurant, elegant atmosphere.
Due to its geographical location the average weather is about 30c with bright sun and a few rainy days in the year!
